Company to present the new line of products at PASS Summit 2009

BURLINGTON, MA, October 27, 2009 – Attunity Ltd. (OTC BB: ATTUF.OB), a leading provider of real-time data integration and event capture software, introduced today a suite of Operational Data Replication (ODR) solutions integrated with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) which is designed to enable customers to replicate data in real-time across a set of heterogeneous data sources at an affordable price point. The solutions, which are designed to enhance business intelligence (BI), improve business operations and reduce total costs, will be presented at PASS Summit 2009, November 2-4, at the Washington State Convention & Trade Center in Seattle, WA.

Enabling real-time business intelligence and guaranteeing consistency of business information across data silos are challenges facing many organizations looking to improve customer service, optimize operations, and increase margins. According to Gartner, “Business analysts and architects should study business processes to determine where monitoring and near-real-time reporting of key performance indicators would provide a meaningful business benefit. They should proactively offer to implement the relevant operation-intelligence facilities as a part of the application development process.” 1

Enabling such capabilities requires the ability to replicate data across heterogeneous data sources in an efficient, real-time, and cost-effective manner. Yet to date, achieving that involved either costly homegrown solutions, or the purchase of enterprise data replication (EDR) software packages that are very expensive and address needs that may exceed those required for operational BI. Alternatively, the Attunity suite of CDC (Change Data Capture) products for SSIS now provides operational data replication (ODR) solutions that support operational/real-time BI requirements with significant cost savings in hardware, software licenses, and implementation services.

Attunity is a Microsoft SQL Server partner and a leading independent provider of low-impact CDC technology that enables capturing and processing only the changes made to heterogeneous enterprise data sources, relational and non-relational, on platforms ranging from Windows to the Mainframe. Earlier this year, Attunity introduced the Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS, an ODR solution that enables the real-time integration of Oracle data and is tightly integrated with SSIS. Attunity is now extending this award-winning product into a suite that supports many heterogeneous sources, including:

1. Oracle-CDC for SSIS (new release of the award winning product)
2. IBM z/OS DB2-CDC for SSIS
3. IBM iSeries DB2-CDC for SSIS
4. HP NonStop SQL/MP-CDC for SSIS

In addition to supporting many types of data sources from which changes are taken, the product suite now also supports the replication of data into many target data sources. With these products, customers can now implement operational data replication across a heterogeneous environment to enable real-time BI, while leveraging existing licenses and expertise in SQL Server and lowering total cost of ownership.

"SQL Server, as a business intelligence platform, provides customers with a powerful set of tools to integrate and manage their data in order to support modern business intelligence requirements," said Tom Casey, general manager of SQL Server Business Intelligence at Microsoft Corp. "We value the relationship with Attunity and its product suite extends SSIS to enable customers to address enterprise and real-time integration requirements across a heterogeneous environment using the tools and applications they are already familiar with."

“The need for real-time information is growing and with it the costs of making it available for business users to support decisions and operations,” stated Shimon Alon, Attunity’s chief executive officer. “Our strategic relationship with Microsoft enables us to heavily invest in integrating our suite of ODR solutions with SSIS and make it available for more data sources so more customers can benefit from its cost-efficiencies and capitalize on the value of real-time information.”
