How does CDC help me create more efficient integration solutions?

Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS enables efficient data processing by non-intrusively capturing and delivering only the changes made to Oracle tables. CDC makes your solution more efficient because:

    • It does not require any downtime and runs while operational systems are running. With CDC, you can eliminate batch processing windows that are no longer required, avoiding downtime and freeing up resources including CPU, memory, and network bandwidth.
    • Data changes typically amount to a small percentage of the source data volume, making the rapid growth in data volumes a non-issue. Furthermore, it requires much less resources (CPU, memory, etc.) for processing changes as compared to BULK processing.
    • It employs log-based CDC that is non-intrusive and has minimal impact on the Oracle source database. It does not add any triggers, timestamp columns, ‘shadow tables’, and it does not require and changes the database schema or the OLTP applications.

What Oracle versions are supported?

Attunity Oracle-CDC for SSIS supports Oracle 9.2.0.4 and higher.

Is Oracle RAC Supported?
